This video demonstrates the step up to row exercise. The goal of this multi-joint exercise is to have the latissimus dorsi and gluteus maximus working together as part of the posterior oblique subsystem. This is a great exercise for someone recovering from some sort of injury as the row may aid in assisting with stepping up or a progression to challenge an individual's ability to prevent rotation.
