LPHC Dysfunction (Anterior Pelvic Tilt) and Weight Loss

History: 28yo, Female, history of low-back pain

Goal: Get ready for wedding

Results of Movement Assessment:

Lumbo-Pelvic-Hip Complex (LPHC) Dysfunction (Anterior Pelvic Tilt):

Flexibility (Tight/Overactive Muscles):

  • Hip Flexors
  • Lumbar Extensors
  • SI Joint Dysfunction

Activation Circuit (Long/Underactive Structures):

  • TVA weakness
  • Gluteus Medius Weakness
  • Glute Max Weakness

Subsystem Integration:

  • Anterior Oblique Subsystem Underactive

Relative Flexibility Resistance Training Progressions:

  • No Overhead movement
  • No Sagittal or Transverse Lunges (Lateral Lunges Okay)

Program: 2 Phase, Daily Undulated, Periodization

  • Integrated Warm-Up: LPHC Dysfunction
  • 2 Phase, Daily Undulated, Periodization

Phase 1: (4-6 weeks)

  • Day 1: Integrated Stabilization Training
  • Day 2: Strength Endurance Circuits

Phase 2: (4-6 weeks)

  • Day1: Strength/Stability Supersets
  • Day 2: Hypertrophy Training Circuit
