Supine

The supine position is an anatomical position where the body is lying face up or with palms facing upwards. This position is used in various exercises, such as floor scaption, chest exercises, abdominal workouts, and stretches. Synonyms include dorsal position and recumbent position.

Supine: An anatomical position; face up, palm up, lying on back. For example, when performing the exercise "floor scaption" (Serratus Anterior Isolated Activation ), the person is lying on their back up in a supine position.
