Caudal

Caudal refers to an anatomical direction towards the tail or feet. For example, to release the trapezius muscle the therapist used a force directed caudally. Synonyms include inferior and tailward.

Caudal: An anatomical direction; toward the tail, relative to humans this term refers to "in the direction of the tailbone (sacrum and coccyx)". For example, a therapist may use a caudally directed force to release the upper trapezius muscle.
